Randy Christy

Randy Christy is a Merchandising Manager and Risk Manager for Cargill’s ProPricing team. In addition to managing the overall corn positions for Cargill’s U.S. elevator assets, Randy is a MarketPro for ProPricing corn and soybeans. He has worked for Cargill since 1984 and has a degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nebraska.

Tyler Schultz

Corn

Working for Cargill for over 11 years, Tyler Schultz is a Senior Merchandising Manager of Export Corn with expertise in export and freight. His previous roles include a soybean crush merchant, a commercial manager of a softseed facility, and a merchandising manager of export and global soybeans. Tyler is originally from a dairy farm in Minnesota and graduated from Hamline University. He enjoys skiing, biking, and golf in his free time.

Julie Detlefsen

Julie grew up just outside of Minneapolis, MN and attended the Carlson Business School at the University of Minnesota. Her seven years of experience with Cargill include roles as a soybean meal merchant in Des Moines, a River elevator merchant in Springfield, IL and Evansville, IN, and a Kansas City Southern rail merchant in Minneapolis. Most recently, she has spent the last two years working with the corn barge desk. In her free time, Julie enjoys fishing and golfing with her husband.

Michael Ricks began his career with Continental Grain Company before moving to Cargill as a Wheat Export Trading Manager in 1999. Since then, he has held roles as the Wheat Product Line Manager and as the Senior Portfolio Trading Manager/Manager Nonfundamental Research Group in Geneva, Switzerland. Michael’s expertise lies in fundamental, technical order flow impacts, world trade, cash, intramarket spreads, intermarket spreads, and options. Michael is originally from Elbow Lake, Minnesota and a graduation of North Dakota State University.

Michael Burque

Michael Burque is one of the Risk Managers for Cargill’s ProPricing team. Michael has over 10 years of option trading experience. His background includes managing risk for large commercial end users and merchandising grain into crush plants and river assets for Cargill. Michael is a Chartered Market Technician and has been a featured speaker at the Minnesota Chapter of the Market Technicians Association. Michael has his MBA from the University of St. Thomas and undergraduate degree from Iowa State University. Michael returned to his alma mater as a guest speaker in the Global Resource Systems and Economics undergraduate classes.

Patrick Stolz

A Minnesota native, Patrick Stolz graduated from University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and has worked for Cargill for 14 years. He has held various merchandising roles within soy processing and grain origination, served as the Commercial Manager of U.S. Softseed Processing, and now works as an export soybeans trader. He specializes in export markets, processing markets, and convergence. Patrick enjoys cheering on the University of Minnesota football team in his free time.

Adam Koenig

Wheat

Adam Koenig is the Soft Red Winter Wheat Product Line Leader with expertise in domestic and export markets, spreads and convergence, and futures and options. His 8 years with Cargill include previous grain merchandising roles in Des Moines, IA, Lafayette, IN, and Springfield, IL. Before joining Cargill, Adam traded export Pacific Northwest corn and soybeans for Temco. In his free time, Adam enjoys golf and fly fishing.

Brad Hibbs

Wheat

With over 30 years of experience at Cargill, Brad Hibbs currently serves as the Vice President of the Cargill Agricultural Supply Chain North America business. Brad graduated from University of Nebraska Lincoln with degrees in Ag Economics and Ag Marketing. Brad has traded over 13 different commodities ranging from Wheat to Forex. From 2005 to 2014, Brad held the role of Global Trading Manager for Soybeans and the Global Trading Manager for Protein in Geneva, Switzerland. He has a proven knowledge and track recording trading Global Physical Cash, Futures, Cash/Futures Convergence, Spreads, Options, Forex Trading, and leading trading teams. Brad spent 18 years working on his Nebraska family farm and over five years owning a farm in Nebraska. His hobbies include global travel, attending family events, biking, and watching Nebraska Cornhusker Football games.

Meredith Kuhlmann

Meredith Kuhlmann began working at Cargill over 10 years ago after graduating from Brown University. Originally from Minnesota, she has held roles as a soybean merchant in Raleigh, NC, a western rail soybean meal merchant and soybean oil merchant in Wayzata, MN, and a canola oil merchant in Winnipeg, MB. She now serves as the Hard Red Winter Wheat Product Line Leader, with expertise in cash trading of freight on board Hard Red Wheat.
